Reflecting on an Amazing 2 days at Zebu Live: Highlights from the London Web3 Conference

Our team had an incredible time at this year’s Zebu Live in London, marking our third year at this remarkable event. It’s hard to believe that each year continues to surpass the last, but thanks to the efforts of Jolyon Layard Horsfall, Harry Horsfall, Ashton Barger, and the dedicated Zebu team, this year was no exception.

A special highlight was Louise Lane, our crypto expert, who spoke on the crypto tax panel. She delivered key tax alpha with a budget hedge to manage the possible impending CGT rate hikes on 30 October and also delved into IR35 issues for Web 3 Contractors. It was great for Louise to share her insights alongside industry leaders like Daniel Howitt of Recap, Ben Lee, and Jamie Nuttall; all expertly moderated by the LOTR obsessed tax lawyer Mark Pearce. Her expertise not only shed light on critical issues, but also showcased the depth of knowledge within our crypto tax and accounting team.

We also enjoyed Charlie Simpson’s engaging workshop on elevating Web3 brands, a brilliant insight for anyone looking to make an impact in this space. It was great to reconnect with Charlie and his co-founder David Henshaw, along with their talented team, including Max Davenport.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Zebu Live was the opportunity to meet and catch up with long-standing virtual connections in person, enriching our professional network and fostering new collaborations.
