In 1979, three forward-thinking professionals, Gerry Camamile, Lewis Wright, and Richard Vigar, saw an opportunity to create something meaningful. In 1979, they founded the firm with only 16 dedicated employees and a small office in Lincoln's Bailgate, laying the foundation for what was to become one of the region's most successful independent chartered accountancy firms.

Our journey has never been about rapid expansion, but strategic, thoughtful growth. In 1992, we moved to a larger office on Newland, symbolising our commitment to serving our clients better and providing more comprehensive support.

The early 2000s marked the beginning of a significant period in our development. We expanded carefully, opening offices in Sleaford and Gainsborough. Each new location was a carefully considered step, designed to bring our expert services to more communities.

The years that followed were marked by milestones and expansions. From London to Retford, and Newark to Mansfield, our footprint expanded, fueled by the trust of our clients and the dedication of our team.

In 2013, we bid farewell to Richard Vigar, one of our founding partners, whose vision had been instrumental in our success. His legacy remains at the heart of our approach: professional, client-focused, and always looking forward.

By 2019, we celebrated 40 years of service. Our commitment to the community was reinforced by joining the Lincoln Social Responsibility Charter – a testament to our belief that business is about more than just numbers.

Our 2021 merger with Hobsons was a key moment. It wasn't about disruption, but about creating more value for our clients. We expanded our presence in Nottingham and Newark, bringing together complementary expertise and shared values.
