Before George Osborne unveiled his Budget on Wednesday 16 March 2016, there was much debate as to how sweeping the changes would be, and just how far-reaching the consequences. It was rumored that fuel duty would rise, ‘sin’ taxes would impact on the cost of tobacco, spirits, wine and beer, however, there was the hope for some much anticipated help and support for small businesses.
