This passion led him to pursue a career in these fields, where he has since collected 40 years of experience in general practice. For 23 of those years, he was a partner in Bull Payne & Co., a firm that was later integrated into Wright Vigar.

At Wright Vigar's Mansfield office, Mike manages a diverse portfolio of clients, handling compliance in accountancy, taxation, and VAT, as well as offering ad hoc advice in various areas. His clients span several sectors, including family businesses, SMEs, partnerships, sole traders, and professional clients such as solicitors. He also works with manufacturing and wholesaling businesses, retail, agriculture, trade unions, miners' welfare organisations, and property investment companies and individuals.
