Starting his career path straight after A-levels, Lee’s journey into accountancy began with an apprenticeship, where he laid the foundation for his future success. Beginning with AAT qualification and progressing to become a Chartered Accountant, he gained invaluable experience and developed a strong understanding of audit principles. His career took him to a Top 20 firm in Nottingham, where he demonstrated leadership skills managing audit teams and fostering strong relationships with managers and partners. Following a move back to his hometown of Hucknall, Lee built and maintained a diverse client portfolio ranging from local sole traders to substantial limited companies with turnovers reaching £14 million. His comprehensive roles over the years have allowed him to develop expertise across various services including accounts preparation, management accounts, corporation and personal taxation and cashflow forecasts to also being involved with more specialised areas such as valuations and restructuring. What drives Lee most is the opportunity to connect with interesting people and the satisfaction of knowing he's made a meaningful impact on their businesses.
