UK Export Finance (UKEF) Launches Early Project Services Guarantee (EPSG)

UK Export Finance (UKEF) has introduced a new financial initiative to support British companies in securing global contracts. The Early Project Services Guarantee helps international buyers access financing for early-stage project services from UK firms, such as feasibility studies and design work.
Key Highlights:
- Provides financial guarantees for international buyers selecting UK service firms
- Supports loans for early project phases with repayment terms up to two years
- Enables potential continuation of project financing through UKEF's Buyer Credit Facility
- Aims to boost UK service exports and support diverse businesses
Carl Williamson, UKEF's director of SME and trade finance, notes this will give international buyers more incentive to leverage UK design and engineering expertise.
