Help to Grow website unveiled to support businesses

The newly established Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has introduced a new one-stop-shop for information to assist the success of UK businesses and make it simpler for businesses to identify, access, and utilise the support they need to flourish.

The Help to Grow website provides a range of guidance and support to take businesses from start-ups, to scaling-up and then exporting their goods and services across the globe. The website is aimed at supporting all sorts of businesses, but particularly the 5.5 million small enterprises that power the UK’s economy.

The website will help more businesses realise their trading goals by boosting exports in the UK’s race to £1 trillion in annual exports, encouraging inward investment, and lowering trade obstacles between companies. It provides specifics on leadership and management skill training, access to funding, support for research and development, and advice on HR-related topics including hiring staff, allowing for flexible scheduling, and paying employees fairly.

The portal also provides information on local Levelling Up projects and Local Enterprise Partnership Growth Hubs’ support for small businesses to website visitors.
